Winter24 sandbox preview cutoff date is Aug 26th, 2023. Refresh your sandbox between now and Aug 26th, 2023 to redirect to preview instance as per sandbox preview instructions article. Aug 26th, 2023, new/incomplete sandbox refresh requests would be routed to non preview instance i.e. current release.
All preview instances will be upgraded to Winter 24 on Aug 26th, 2023, 2023 and non preview instances on Oct 15th.

Non Production/Testing Use case features -
Pilot - Usually the first phase of public testing, Pilots normally include a small subset of participant Organizations. These Organization’s must request to opt in to a Pilot and then be nominated for participation.
BETA - Features with successful Pilots will often transition to the BETA phase. This involves rolling the feature out publicly for testing.
Generally Available (GA) - Once a feature has passed the Pilot and BETA testing phases it will be formally included in a Salesforce release.

- MFA enforcement begins with Summer ’24.
- In Lightning Experience, when you create a public link to share a file, you can choose to set a date when the link expires
- Transfer lightning dashboard ownership when responsibilities change or the dashboard creator leaves your organization.
- Visualize Lightning Reports with Summary Formulas as You Create Them
- You can now open multiple reports and dashboards in individual tabs. Previously, you could open only one report at a time in the Analytics tab.
- You can migrate to Hyperforce with help from Hyperforce Assistant. The assistant is now generally available for production and sandbox orgs.
