Salesforce CPQ Post Installation

Step 2: Change the Account layouts.
Go to the Account object and edit the layout so that we can see quotes and related list in the account page.
As CPQ is manage package any changes done to the CPQ Account Layout cannot be deployed, so the best way is to clone the layout and then deploy from 1 sandbox to another sandbox,

 

Now click on New button,  and clone existing CPQ Account Layout as shown,



 

Once the new page layout is created, now go ahead and assign these layout to profiles.
 


For now i am assigning these to 2 profiles Standard and System Administrator and click Save.
 


Step 3: Change the Opportunity Page Layout as mentioned above and then change the Product Page Layout, and finally contract page layout
