Salesforce AI Specialist Certification

Salesforce AI Specialist Certification is one of the trickiest cert of the recent time that I have attempted, during Dreamforce'24, this certification was announced for free for everyone for their first attempt!

The Exam has 60 questions, pass percentage is 73% which means 44 questions need to be right to pass, Time - 90 minutes.

Exam Fee - First Attempt free till December 31, 2025, 5PM PT,  Subsequent retakes - 100$

Please ensure to go through the resources listed in the below trailmix along with the videos -

Go through the sample exam questions from the below module so you get an idea on the format-
  • Einstein Trust Layer: 15% of exam
  • Generative AI in CRM Applications: 17% of exam
  • Prompt Builder: 37% of exam
  • Einstein Copilot: 23% of exam
  • Model Builder: 8% of exam

I initially thought this to be easier exam considering that  I need to pick only one right choice among the 3 options for the questions, however realized that was not the case and this actually needed hands on experience, ensure to login to the org and create prompt templates to begin with. If you notice 20+ questions are focussed on prompt builder, so pay attention to this to clear the exam followed by copilot/agent. This needs good preparation to pass in first attempt :)

Few of the important focus areas which will help to clear are -
  • Difference between resolution vs response
  • Different prompt templates including standard and customer
  • Focus on standard actions and Action explorer, Planner service, Metadata API, Hyperparameters in model builder
  • Einstein Work Summaries/Service replies - good number of questions around capabilities
  • Ground templates with different merge fields
  • Check out the help articles for all the topics and pay attention to Related lists merge field

Non Production/Testing Use case features -
Pilot -
Usually the first phase of public testing, Pilots normally include a small subset of participant Organizations. These Organization’s must request to opt in to a Pilot and then be nominated for participation.

BETA -
Features with successful Pilots will often transition to the BETA phase. This involves rolling the feature out publicly for testing.

Features for Production Use -
Generally Available (GA) - Once a feature has passed the Pilot and BETA testing phases it will be formally included in a Salesforce release

General Enhancements -

  • Generally Available - Einstein Copilot is now GA
  • If the Require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all direct UI logins to your Salesforce org setting is disabled in a production org, all Salesforce admins see a warning prompt when working in Setup. These recurring prompts advise that the org is out of compliance with the contractual MFA requirement and provide guidance on how to proceed.
  • Quickly and easily add a new custom field to your Dynamic Forms-enabled pages by using a new step in the custom-field creation wizard.
  • To improve performance and meet the latest accessibility standards, list views for custom objects now render with Lightning Web Components (LWC) instead of Aura.
  • You can now successfully view the Lightning page information for custom fields in use on Dynamic Forms-enabled pages via the Where is this used? button.
  • The Inactive User Freezing feature increases sandbox security by freezing users who haven’t logged in to a sandbox within 60 days of it being created, cloned, or refreshed.
  • Create Custom Metrics in Security Center (Beta)
  • Quickly view relevant data with more engaging Security Center charts within your Security Landscape, which offers an improved Security Center dashboard page experience.
  • Let Einstein Build a Draft Flow for You
